Time to market is critical when a drug gets FDA approval. I spearheaded a rapid response product launch process for client Hikma Pharmaceuticals to efficiently build the product launch essentials and get the necessary approvals that cut the typical time to market by half.
What started as a comprehensive digital marketing audit for a young Rx brand resulted in a major overhaul and remarkable growth within a 12-month period. A new action plan centered on a completely new website presence for Mitigare while shining a brighter light on its co-pay coupon card and the HCP sample kit.
RESULTS: 17% boost in patient savings card downloads, 20% more sample kit requests, 28% uptick in time on page, 197% increase in referral traffic, 1,185% surge in paid search traffic.
This black box rheumatoid arthritis drug, Ridaura®, required a multi-purpose, educational website to address the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals. Black box drugs can often generate more questions among concerned patients. One of our priorities was to help answer those questions for patients and seamlessly put those answers in the hands of prescribing physicians. Taking this effort a step further, we designed a companion content piece created to educate healthcare professionals. The 6-panel brochure makes a highly effective leave-behind for Hikma sales representatives.
RESULTS: Double digit engagement from our dual audiences (patients and healthcare professionals). The site’s easy-to-follow navigation, lifestyle imagery and quick-hitting information has gained patient and physician accolades via engagement and kudos from Hikma sales representatives as a much-needed sales tool resource. More than 35% of visitors visit the healthcare provider section and 26% engage with the patient support section and FAQs.
Hikma required an agile strategy, calculated creative and quick turnaround for this new product launch to make a significant impact in an already crowded drug category. The drug product launch roll-out for Ritonavir needed a brand identity, collateral, email and website developed virtually overnight.
RESULTS: Our proven process streamlined the initiative, delivering all components on time and on budget. Within a matter of weeks, a logo brand identity package, website, email and marketing collateral were ready for the debut of the generic Ritonavir brand at the company’s annual meeting.
